The Flamingo Billiards Tour, in conjunction with the American CueSports Lucasi Hybrid All-American Tour, is hosting the third annual $250-added ”Cues for the Cure,” in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month at our October 8th tour stop at Amy’s Billiards in Stuart, FL.
This event is a public fundraiser for breast cancer research and education. Like last year, we’re having a 4-ball contest open to anyone who’d like to join in the fun for a small donation for each try. All proceeds from the competition will benefit the South Florida Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Last year we raised $400. Help us shoot for more this year!
2010 Cues for the Cure
Think Pink! We are planning a media blitz in the days before the tournament to raise awareness for our event at Amy’s Billiards, so we’re asking everyone to wear Pink! Please find something pink to wear for this event to show your support, and so we can have a great group picture to send to the media!
In addition to the $250 added, the highest-finishing ACS member will receive paid entry into the 9-Ball Singles in Las Vegas in May 2011.
Entry fees
FBT members: $40 ($35 + $5 admin)
First-time Mini-Tour or league players: $25 ($20 + $5 admin)
All others: $50 ($45 + $5 admin)
(Arrivals after 11:00 a.m., add $10)

(FBT player $17.50 + $5 admin, 1st time Mini-Tour or league friend $20 + $5 admin = $47.50 total)
(FBT player $17.50 + $5 admin, other friend $45 + $5 admin = $72.50)
For those players who have played once on the FBT this year but did not join as a member, you must join this month ($20) in order to be eligible to play in the $1000-added Invitational event in November.
